Gears of War: E-Day is a 2026 third-person shooter video game developed by The Coalition and People Can Fly and published by Xbox Game Studios. It is the sixth main installment in the Gears of War series. Set fourteen years before the events of the first game, it takes place during Emergence Day, when the Locust Horde first emerged from beneath the planet Sera and launched a devastating surprise attack against humanity.
